Position Overview
The Student Enrichment Coordinator at Imperial World School is responsible for designing and implementing a vibrant extracurricular and enrichment program that supports the holistic development of students. The coordinator ensures that students have opportunities to explore their interests, develop talents, build leadership skills, and cultivate teamwork through sports, arts, clubs, entrepreneurship, and outdoor learning experiences.
This role plays a key part in creating a balanced school experience where learning extends beyond the classroom. The coordinator will work closely with teachers, coaches, and school leadership to deliver high-quality programs that align with the school’s mission of developing confident, creative, responsible, and globally aware learners.
Key Responsibilities
ECA Program Design & Management
- Develop and manage a structured Extracurricular Activities (ECA) program for students across different grade levels.
- Plan and organize activities in areas such as sports, arts, music, Theatre, Dance, technology, leadership, and innovation.
- Prepare an annual ECA calendar aligned with the academic schedule.
- Ensure a diverse range of activities that promote creativity, physical wellness, teamwork, and student engagement.
Student Clubs & Leadership Development
- Support and supervise student-led clubs and societies such as debate, innovation, entrepreneurship, environment, and community service.
- Facilitate student leadership opportunities through the Leadership Development Program (LDP).
- Encourage students to take initiative in organizing school events and activities.
- Foster teamwork, responsibility, and collaboration among students.
Sports & Physical Activities Coordination
- Coordinate school sports activities including futsal, basketball, volleyball, Pickle-ball and other athletic programs.
- Organize inter-mural sports competitions and inter-school tournaments.
- Work closely with sports coaches and physical education teachers to strengthen the sports culture within the school.
- Assist in organizing annual sports events and athletic competitions.
Creative Arts & Cultural Programs
- Coordinate programs related to visual arts, performing arts, drama, music, and cultural activities.
- Support school productions, exhibitions, talent shows, and creative festivals.
- Encourage student participation in artistic and cultural expression.
Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programs
- Plan and coordinate outdoor learning activities, field trips, educational visits, and nature-based learning experiences.
- Organize leadership camps, outdoor adventure programs, and experiential learning activities that build resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Support programs such as camping, hiking, environmental education, and outdoor leadership training.
- Ensure proper safety protocols and risk management during all outdoor activities.
Outdoor Learning & Experiential Education
- Support initiatives such as Kidpreneurship and innovation programs that promote creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Encourage project-based activities that develop practical real-world skills.
Communication & Documentation
- Maintain records of ECA activities, participation, and student achievements.
- Communicate activity schedules and updates to students, parents, and staff.
- Work with the school media team to document and promote student activities through newsletters, school-website, and social media.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school activity coordination, sports management, or youth development programs.
- Experience organizing extracurricular activities, sports events, or student leadership programs.
