Position Overview
The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school premises, monitoring entry and exit points, assisting visitors, and supporting the school's safeguarding and emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and safeguard the school premises during assigned shifts.
- Control and record the entry and exit of students, staff, visitors, and vehicles.
- Verify visitor identities and ensure compliance with school security procedures.
- Patrol the campus regularly to prevent unauthorized access and maintain security.
- Assist in maintaining discipline and order during school events and activities.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
- Coordinate with school administration and emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure that school property and facilities are protected from damage or misuse.
- Support the implementation of the school's health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
- Prepare and maintain basic security logs and incident reports.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SEE/SLC or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience as a security guard, ex-service personnel, or in a related field will be an added advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act responsibly during emergencies.
- Basic reading and writing skills in Nepali; knowledge of English will be an advantage.
