Imperial World School successfully concluded the Imperial World School Basketball
Tournament 2026, bringing together 24 teams from 15 schools across three competitive
categories: Junior Boys, Senior Boys, and Senior Girls.
The tournament featured 8 teams in each category and a total of 45 matches, providing young
athletes with a valuable platform to demonstrate their basketball skills, teamwork, discipline, and
sportsmanship.
Participating Teams
Following the group-stage and knockout rounds, the tournament reached its final stage with
three exciting championship matches:
The final matches brought together the top-performing teams of the tournament and marked the
culmination of several days of competitive basketball.
The closing and award distribution ceremony was graced by Mr. Bhim Singh Gurung,
President of the Nepal Basketball Association, as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony provided an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the efforts of the participating
teams, players, coaches, officials, and organizers. Awards were presented to outstanding
players and teams in recognition of their performances throughout the tournament.
The event also highlighted the importance of sports in developing teamwork, discipline,
leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of sportsmanship among students.
Imperial World School extends its sincere gratitude to all participating schools, coaches, team

contribution and cooperation throughout the tournament.
