Learning Beyond the Classroom: Guest Lecture on Nutrition and Nutrients
Learning becomes more meaningful when classroom knowledge connects with real-world experiences. Keeping this in mind, Imperial World School organised an interactive guest lecture on Nutrition and Nutrients for its students, featuring Ms. Karuna Gurung, Food Technologist, as the guest speaker.
The session provided students with an opportunity to explore important topics related to healthy eating, nutrition, food safety, and making informed food choices. Through engaging discussions and real-world insights, students were encouraged to reflect on the role of nutrition in their daily lives and understand how the concepts they learn in the classroom apply beyond their textbooks.
The interactive nature of the session allowed students to ask questions, share their thoughts, explore new perspectives, and learn directly from a professional in the field. The experience helped strengthen their understanding of the importance of making healthy and informed choices.
The guest lecture was a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the idea that education extends beyond the classroom and that real-world experiences can inspire curiosity, deeper understanding, and lifelong learning.
At IWS, we believe that learning extends beyond textbooks and classrooms!
