The Imperial World School U-16 Interschool Futsal Tournament – Season 2 was successfully held from July 1 to July 7, 2026, bringing together talented young footballers from 12 schools across the valley. The tournament celebrated teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy competition while providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their skills.

The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Nabin Neupane, Head Coach of the Nepal Women's National Football Team, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Anil Gurung, former Captain of the Nepal National Football Team, as the Special Guest. Following the opening ceremony, teams competed in league matches over the first three days, displaying determination, skill, and fair play.
The excitement continued through the quarter-finals and semi-finals, where Euro School, Hattigauda and Kasthamandap Vidhyalaya earned their places in the Grand Final. In the championship match, Euro School, Hattigauda defeated Kasthamandap Vidhyalaya 1–0 to lift the tournament trophy. The Third Place Playoff between Nisarga Batika School and Brihaspati Vidyasadan School ended 1–1 before Nisarga Batika School secured third place through a penalty shootout.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognizing the achievements of the participating teams and outstanding individual performers.
