Making Math Meaningful, Accessible & Connected
Math Training Session at Imperial World School
Imperial World School was pleased to host a Mathematics Training Session in collaboration with Budhanilkantha Municipality, bringing together Mathematics teachers and members of Mathematics departments from schools across the municipality.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Deepesh Shrestha and Mr. NK Shrestha, who shared practical strategies, teaching approaches, and perspectives focused on making Mathematics easier to understand, more engaging, and meaningfully connected to students’ everyday learning experiences.
Building Budhanilkantha as a Math HubThe training is part of a broader vision to establish Budhanilkantha Municipality as a Math Hub—a collaborative platform where Mathematics education can continue to grow through innovative teaching practices, professional development, and shared learning among educators.
The programme was further strengthened by the presence of Mayor Mitharam Adhikari and members of the Education Board of Budhanilkantha Municipality. Their participation and support reflected a shared commitment to strengthening Mathematics education across the municipality.
Learning, Sharing & Growing Together
The training provided an opportunity for educators to come together, exchange ideas, explore new approaches, and reflect on how Mathematics can be taught in ways that encourage curiosity and deeper understanding.
Together, educators and educational leaders are working towards making Mathematics not just a subject to learn, but a subject to understand, explore, connect with, and enjoy.
A meaningful step towards building a stronger Mathematics learning community in Budhanilkantha!
