Earthquake Awareness Session, Drill & Rescue Demonstration Conducted at Imperial World School
On 28 May 2026, Imperial World School successfully organized a comprehensive Earthquake Awareness Session, followed by a full-scale earthquake drill and rescue demonstration, in collaboration with the Disaster Rescue Battalion, Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal.
The program was conducted by SP Jeevan K.C. and his team from the Disaster Rescue Battalion. The session provided students and staff with in-depth guidance on earthquake preparedness, safety measures, emergency response protocols, and rescue techniques, enabling the school community to remain informed, prepared, and resilient in emergency situations.
Following the awareness session, a full-school earthquake drill was carried out under the supervision of the APF Disaster Rescue Battalion team. Students and staff actively participated in evacuation procedures, safety protocols, coordinated movement, rescue operations, and emergency response practices. The realistic simulations offered valuable hands-on learning experiences and strengthened overall disaster preparedness.
Imperial World School extends its sincere gratitude to SP Jeevan K.C. and the entire APF Disaster Rescue Battalion team for their professional guidance, valuable time, and commitment to enhancing disaster readiness within the school community. Their support has significantly contributed to building a safer and more prepared learning environment for all.
This initiative reflects the school’s continued commitment to safety awareness, experiential learning, and the development of responsible, well-prepared students.
